Friday's the Day

Seems like the easiest day for me to blog is on Friday's, so I think that's "the day". Anyways, everything is going great around here. Lexy continues to enjoy school and I enjoy that I have only one kid for a couple hours everyday. It gives Nathan more attention (like he needs it) and he also takes a nap when she's gone which gives me a break. I'm glad we made the decision to send her to preschool instead of kindergarden b/c she is really worn out with just a half day at school. Our kindergarden here is a full day, so I think this was ideal for her and hopefully will help with the transistion to all day next year.
Lexy has PT and OT this morning. She is really enjoying both of these therapies. She has pretty much mastered climbing up stairs unassisted and is getting really close to going down them as well. In OT, they have been working with her putting her socks and shoes on, buttoning buttons, and drawing shapes. She considers both of these fun and doesn't even realize that she's working!! I think I'll take Nathan to the park today while she's there. It is getting harder and harder to take him into therpies b/c he gets bored and ansy b/c we are there an hour. I'm not sure what I'll do when Camryn gets here, I guess I'll have to start enlisting grandparents to help!! I think her therapies are important, so I don't want to stop them just yet.
Not much planned for the weekend. The Colts have a bye week and the Cowboys play the Redskins, so that is probably the most exciting thing going on (pretty boring life, but i love it!). As soon as some fall weather hits, I'd like to take the kids to the zoo for the day. Hopefully we can take them a couple more times before our annual pass runs out. Speaking of fall weather, I'm ready for some! Don't get me wrong, I don't like cold weather, but I do like to have windows open and some nice 70 degree weather! Seems like anymore we go straight from summer to winter, and I don't like it!!!! Well better go and get breakfast started. Thanks for checking in on us, and enjoy the weekend! Liz
